I don't really blog.....tamad ako to type and di ako magaling mag English! Hehehe!. I just wanted to write about this person though, beause she really made me proud. I got a call the other day asking me if I can watch a show where one of my former students was doing the lead. It was Katrice Gavino and she was going to play Dorothy in a production of Wizard of Oz here in Los Angeles. She was FANTASTIC!!!! I was so proud. I was teary-eyed watching her because the last time I saw her, she was a little kid in Manila. Now she's a young lady and has her eyes set on Broadway. She will make it there for sure. I have no doubt. She sounds so much like her Tita Lea Salonga, her idol. She hugged me after the show saying "Thank you, Tito Lito, for everything." I told her, "No, Katrice. It should be me thanking you." She made my day. Watch out for her. There are people destined for greatness - she's one of them.
